Coronavirus Update

Updated 22 May, 2020

To Our Valued Members and Guests,

First and most importantly, we hope that you are keeping well given the current global health crisis.  Our thoughts are with you and your families during this difficult and challenging time.

As you would no doubt be aware, the club has been closed by order of the NSW Government since 23 March, 2020 to assist in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus.  Recently however, these restrictions have been relaxed to allow cafes and restaurants to seat up to a maximum of 50 patrons at any given time.  This includes food outlets within registered clubs.

This has been a welcomed move towards a return to the social freedoms we all enjoyed prior to the pandemic and a much needed lifeline to many small businesses.  Unfortunately however, this is not a viable option for a venue as large as St George Leagues Club so sadly our doors will remain closed for the time being.

In the meantime, we have been busy working at some exciting improvements within the venue. Our Western Terrace is in the midst of a major refurbishment which will be the jewel in the crown with a focus on improved comfort, modern décor and of course all the most popular entertainment fixtures for your enjoyment. We will also ensure that we continue to offer you the best quality experience with the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness when the time comes to swing our doors open and welcome you back.

Until then, stay healthy and safe. We hope to see you at the club in the not too distant future.

Warm Regards,
The Board and Management
St George Leagues Club
